'Berry' Cute

This morning we went to a farm to pick strawberries. This is one of the activities I'm trying now that they're older. They behaved very well and took berry picking seriously. They were very careful not to step on the berries or plants. My Grandma and Grandpa Krupp would have been very proud :)
You can see by Logan's choice that they also learned quickly which berries were ready to be picked. I had to remind them to gently set the berries in the bucket after I saw them tossing them in like shooting baskets.

Jack and Logan hard at work. I decided to go too late in the morning. It was 85 degrees by the time we got picking so we didn't last long.

Luke posing with his haul, mom helped with his bucket :)

Jack, as you see, was a bit more choosey. He didn't have many, but they were the best ones on the vine :) For lunch after we got home the boys took out about 2 quarts of berries....we'll have to go again.

T-Ball and Soccer End

Here are Luke (#5) and Logan (#6) in their last soccer game. Quite an improvement over the video post in their first games. They actually get it now. Logan even scored in a game. They're too polite though. They never want to take the ball away from someone. Oh well, next season :)
Here are Luke and Logan posing in front of the goal with their trophies. They were very proud of themselves. We now have the trophies in a prominent spot in the house.

Jack got his trophy too. He improved quite a bit throughout the season. Dad really helped by playing so much catch with him. We'll see what he decides to do in the fall. Anyway, it was great exercise for the boys and it gave us a taste of what's in store for us with 3 boys in sports. We had game and practice days to deal with.

Jack's Preschool Graduation

Jack graduated from preschool this week. It was very cute. They marched in with one of the teachers carrying a tape player with 'Pomp and Circumstance' playing.
Jack waved when he saw us. Grandma and Pop MacDonald joined us.
He looks terribly thrilled here, but he did participate. He's his daddy's boy. They sang a few songs and did a chant that reminded me of the movie Kindergarten Cop.

He's all smiles after receiving his 'diploma'.

Grandma and Pop posed with him.

...on to cake!

Showing off the blue frosting on his teeth.

Mom got a quick picture with Jack too and then it was off to my meetings.

Luke and Logan Turn 4!

I won't be able to do this much longer! I had to get a quick picture with my 4 year old boys. I can't believe it's been 4 years!
We invited everyone over for pizza. Luke is very happy about the menu.

Logan is into silly faces right now. He's pretty wired with anticipation.

I broke my rule this year. I swore I'd always make them each their own cake. When they said they wanted a monster truck cake I knew it would have to be just one. This sucker took 3 cake mixes and a ton of time.
Here's Logan's side of the cake. Each side had their name on the door and the license plate had 'Fish' on it.

Luke and Logan posing with the cake before we do candles and eat. They each had 4 candles on their side of the cake.

A very cute picture of them patiently waiting for everyone to gather so they could open presents.
Unwrapping their gifts. They got a lot of great gifts.

Mom and dad's gifts to the boys were their brand new big boy bikes with helmets.

They were very excited. They had to go outside right away and try them out. Since they had snuck rides on Jack's bike when he wasn't looking they knew just what to do.
