Spring Break--Toledo Zoo

We started our spring break by going to the Toledo Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Fish. Grandpa had never been there. It wasn't Florida, but it still turned out to be a decent day.
Mom got a turn to pose with the boys.

Grandpa found some panda statues to climb on. Logan wasn't cooperating.

Luke was very nervous to turn his back on the gorilla for the picture. He didn't want the gorilla to get him.

This was the first time I've been to the zoo where we've actually seen the faces of lions. They're always sleeping behind a rock with their backs turned. Not only were they sitting up, but they were actually roaring loudly a couple times.

Checking out the elephants. You can see them better now, soon the trees will be full of leaves and it's hard to get a good view.

I guess this is the time of year to visit the zoo. We don't usually see the octopus moving either. This time he was crawling all over the glass and entertaining us.

Our favorite animal is the polar bear. They weren't in the mood for swimming, but they were still running around close to the glass for us to see well.

We ended the day by saying good bye to the polar bears and seals. It was a fun day for all!
