After having our plans fall through in the past, we finally met up with Tammy today! She got to meet the boys for the first time. Tammy held up even with a walking cast on a broken leg!
I was going to go it alone with the boys, but thankfully at the last minute, Brad decided to go. Wow, did I need him. The highways were crazy with detours and he knows the way around.

Our favorite by far was the Polar Bear Encounter! Here we are in the entrance to 'the tube' that goes under the water through the tank. We got to the zoo early and there was hardly anyone there. 
We were looking around and disappointed because we didn't see any bears swimming. Then we looked up and saw one sitting right on the top of the tube! That was very cool!
Brad took turns holding the boys up so they could touch the glass under the bear. Here's a video of the polar bear. It was worth going to the zoo just for that. Because there was only one other family in the place, we hung out for quite awhile. I would recommend the zoo! We loved seeing Tammy!
