Day 3

Another long day on the road and we’re getting tired of the car. Finished New Mexico and into Arizona. Lots of amazing scenery…especially Albuquerque. Smooth sailing again with driving. We’ve gotten so lucky with construction. With the excessive heat most projects were open. Traffic has seemed pretty light on tourists…until we got to our hotel tonight. We’re staying at the exit to head into the Grand Canyon tomorrow and it’s pretty crazy. Planning on a very early morning to get moving. Hearing that Yellowstone may open next week with restrictions . WaIting to hear more to decide if we need to change plans or not. Very excited to pick Brad up at the airport this evening. The family will be back together. A couple pics from today are our picnic lunch when we got I to Arizona and visiting the meteor crater. It used to be a small visitors center with a modest fee to walk out on a viewing platform. They’ve created a massive center with a 4D movie and guided tours. You can’t just opt to go on the platform…it’s $25 a person so the second picture cost us $100 to get😂
