…we almost turned around…it was going great…until we got past Indianapolis. I have been battling allergies /head cold and the up and down plugged my head and wouldn’t pop. What followed was the worst vertigo that I’ve ever had. I could luckily pull off at an exit ok, but had trouble walking, let alone driving. The boys all stepped up in a big way. They finished the day and Jack drove us through St. Louis like a boss. Bob suggested finding a pharmacy and asking for help. Luke helped me in and the pharmacist grabbed Claritin. She asked for my drivers license so I could purchase it. She returned my license and said I’m sorry your license is expired…yep…who totally blew the fact my license needed to be renewed by my birthday …me! So I’m now starting a 2 week road trip as an outlaw😳 I have my crying speech ready if I get pulled over😂 So I have Luke hand over his license…I’m sorry he’s only 17 and you have to be 18 to purchase this….bring on Jack who saved the day! She said it would help in an hour…it took 3! Got progressively better but didn’t drive. We made it to Meremec Cavern Tours and to our first destination. We stopped quick to get the peanut butter for lunches I forgot…and my debit card was declined and putting cash in the machine to pay locked it up for 15 minutes …the boys decided we are throwing in the towel today. Heading to bed early and praying tomorrow brings a better day🙏🏻
